The solid Hard Wood slats are spaced evenly so the mattress has air circulation, there is absolutely no plywood or particle board or laminate used in the construction of our Platform Bed frames. The Carmel will make a beautiful and functional piece of furniture in any bedroom. We recommend using our 8" Natural Futon Mattress for this frame. Available in Twin, Full, Queen and King sizes.
